We recently stayed at a lovely hotel in Trieste, and I'd like to share our experience. Our family was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a spacious room that included two bathrooms and a kitchen. This was particularly helpful, especially with kids and our two dogs in tow. The location on the 4th floor offered great views, and we appreciated the cleanliness and tasteful decor throughout. The staff were kind and accommodating, and having basic kitchen ingredients like salt and pepper made our stay more enjoyable. While parking can be a challenge, there are options, including a hotel parking fee of €16 or finding a spot on the street. The 24-hour reception was invaluable for our late-night arrivals. We also enjoyed breakfast at the nearby Hotel Victoria. While we initially booked for the spa facilities, they were closed during our visit, which was a letdown.
